Clinical Research

Clinical Research is a branch of healthcare that is intended to provide adequate information on use of new drug, new indication of already approved drug, new medical device or new technology with regards to safety, efficacy and adverse effects before introducing it to the market for general public use. Clinical Research in humans is done only after successfully completion and approval of animal studies.

Clinical Research in humans is typically conducted in four phases. Each phase is considered a separate trial and after completion of a phase, Investigators are required to submit their data for approval to the Regulatory body before continuing to the next phase.
